I don’t recall who gave me the tip on this simple recipe, but we’ve been making them for years! It’s simple and delicious and really great with the salty sweet flavors. The texture is nice and it’s something you can make quickly!
Shrimp, raw, shelled and cleaned
Bacon, thin strips cut in half
Western Salad Dressing
Preheat the oven to broil
Wrap each shrimp with a half a piece of bacon and skewer them for easy broiling
Coat the wrapped bacon with a good amount of Western Salad Dressing.
Rub the dressing over the skewers to coat all parts of the bacon and shrimp. Place the shrimp on a baking sheet and broil, turning once, until the bacon is crisp and the shrimp is cooked through, two to three minutes each side. They can also be prepared on the grill. That’s it! Serve hot, but they are even good at room temperature!
