Bruschetta

Bruschetta is one of my simple “go to” appetizers.  I prepare it so often that I can’t believe that I hadn’t posted it on the blog yet herunterladen!  It’s a fresh and simple antipasto from Italy consisting of grilled bread rubbed with garlic and topped with olive oil, salt and pepper. Ingredients:

4-6 Tomatoes, cored and diced
3 Tablespoons Green Onion, sliced and optional
2 Cloves Garlic, pressed
3 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
2-3 Tablespoons Basil, chopped
Salt and Pepper, to taste

Serve on top of French Baguette, sliced and toasted
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Garlic Clove, raw and peeled for rubbing on crustini
Course Salt
Shredded Parmesan or Mozzarella Cheese, optional
