Cabbage Salad with Ramen

Written By: Chris - Jul• 23•12

Another summer salad!  This is a family favorite!  It is sweet and tangy and has so much texture!  Give it a try at your next gathering!  This salad isn’t good left over, so only mix what you think your gang will eat!

Ingredients:
dressing:
1/4 Onion
1/2 Cup White Vinegar
1/3 Cup Splenda
3/4 Cup Vegetable Oil
1 Smack Ramen Noodle seasoning package
1 teaspoon Chicken Boulion
Salt & Pepper

Cabbage
Sunflower seeds, roasted and salted
Almonds, toasted and salted
Ramen pasta

I prefer to use fresh cut cabbage because it is crispier than the pre-cut packaged cabbage.  This amount of dressing is good for a head of cabbage.  I will prepare the dressing and store it in the fridge mixing the salad as we feel like eating it!

Mix the ingredients for the dressing

Crush the Ramen noodles and add to the dressed cabbage along with the sunflower seeds, almonds, etc. just before serving!

Enjoy!

Cheers!
