Light Bread Pudding

Hungry for something that isn’t too sweet, but just sweet enough?  I served this wonderful “Light” Bread Pudding after dinner with the family, but then we enjoyed it for a nice breakfast the next day too download adobe reader for free windows 10!

Ingredients:
2/3 – 1 lb horse spiele kostenlos downloaden. loaf of French bread (dried)
1 Tablespoon Butter
2 Tablespoons Brummel & Brown (butter product made from Yogurt)
1/2 Cup Raisins
1 Cup Egg beaters
2 Eggs
1 Can evaporated fat-free Milk
1 Cup Milk, fat-free
1/2 Cup light Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Xylitol
1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
1 Tablespoon Vanilla
1 teaspoon fresh Nutmeg
pinch of Salt

Not so “light” Sauce Ingredients:
1/2 Cup half and half
1/2 Cup Milk, fat-free
2 Tablespoons
1/3 Cup raw Manuka Honey
1 Tablespoon flour
pinch of Salt
zest of 1/2 Lemon

The bread pudding is delicious with a fat-free whip topping as well if you are trying to reduce points.  Save the not so light sauce for your friends and family who don’t need to reduce their calories download ipad mp4.

Cut bread into small cubes and place into a 9 X 13 (mine is a 9 X 14) pan sprayed with Butter flavored cooking spray.  Also spray the bread with a light dusting of the butter spray

 

In medium sauce pan, heat milk over medium heat until it forms a frothy film.  Add butter and Brummel & Brown until melted.  Cool to Luke warm amazon movies pc.

 

Mix together sugar, eggs, spices & vanilla

Mix the egg mixture into the milk mixture evenly and

 

Press gently with hands to make sure the bread has soaked up all of the liquid

Bake 350 degrees 45-50 minutes

[…] This dish was inspired because I was thinking of what the kids would like when they recently were coming over for a Sunday dinner… I always try to come up with something different and we enjoy meat balls and Spaghetti.  We enjoy the flavor of ground beef, but “lighten it up” by combining it with ground turkey for less fat and calories.  This is a simple recipe!  It was very tasty and even healthy!    Coincidentally, this was the same dinner that we enjoyed with the light bread pudding!
